WEBSITE UPDATION TRAINING PROGRAMME:

A 4 Day Training Programme for Updation of Websites began from 9 A.M. under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Guwahati Regional Office.
Mr. U.N.Khawarey Assistant Commissioner KVS Guwahati Region inaugurated the programme. Mr.N.R.Murali Education Officer,KVS Guwahati Region gave a brief introduction about the programme.The guests were welcomed by the Principal of the venue Vidyalaya Mr.Maniyappan P.P.
The training programme began with a power point presentation by Mr.N.R.Murali.
Adobe Photoshop and working with images was demonstrated by Mr.Anutosh Deb, Art Teacher, K.V.Maligaon.

The training programme was scheduled in two groups of twenty Teachers from different Vidyalayas of KVS Guwahati Region.

The Teachers were given hands on training both online and offline.

The training programme was held from 9 to 12 April 2007.

One day KVS HQ workshop on School Leadership Development Building - 21st Century Schools : A Microsoft programme was held in the Vidyalaya on 27 June 2007 at the initiative of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan HQ New Delhi.

The inaugural programme was chaired by The Assistant Commissioner, KVS Guwahati Region Mr. U.N.Khawarey, and presided over by Mr. Sushant Jha CPO (Admin.) NF Railway and Chairman VMC K.V.NF Railway Maligaon.

Mr. Maniyappan P.P., Principal of the venue welcomed the guests and all the participants with the traditional 'Phulam Gamosha' and a bouquet.

The programme was attended by twenty three Principals & Vice Principals of different Vidyalayas of KVS Guwahati Region.

Shri U.N.Khawarey, emphasised the need of the hour for all of us to make ourselves techno savvy and keep informed of the latest developments in the field of IT.

Shri Sushant Jha, thanked the KVS for organising such programmes related to Information Technology frequently for the Principals and also for the Teachers. He opined that such fruitful training would indirectly pass on the benifits to the children.

The workshop was conducted by Mr.Kaushik Biswas from Microsoft.

The programme was also attended by Mr. S.K.Verma and Mr R.T.Borkar, Education Officers KVS Guwahati Region.

During the session some very important issues pertaining to administrative matters and updation of the Vidyalaya Website was discussed by the Officials of KVS RO Guwahati. Querys in connection with the updation of website was also discused by Mr.Anutosh Deb, Art Teacher of the venue Vidyalaya.
