Mrs Arati Kalita was awarded the Life Time Education Achievement Award 2007 by Health & Education Development Association on the occasion of 21st National Seminar at Delhi. She was also honored with the National Status Award for Education Excellence 2007 by Intellectual People & Economic Growth Association, New Delhi.

Smt.Arati Kalita, TGT English, Kendriya Vidyalaya NF Railway Maligaon Guwahati received the National Award 2007 on 5th September 2007. Smt Kalita had also received the KVS Incentive Award for the year 2005. Smt Arati Kalita joined the KVS in 1985. She is a First Class stage artist and a Language News Reader in Doordarshan Kendra Guwahati & a 'B' High grade artist in Drama section of the All India Radio, Guwahati.

Master Bhargav Choudhury, presently
a student of Class V won Medals in All Assam Aquatic Meet 2009, held at the Bimala Prasad Chaliya Swimming pool Guwahati from 25-27 July 2009, organised by All Assam Swimming Association. master Bhargav Choudhury won Gold Medals in 50 Mts Freestyle, 50 Mts Backstroke and 100 Mts.freestyle and a Bronze medal in 200mts.individual Medley.

Regional level: i) Girls basketball team got champion and six players are selected for KVS(GR) TEAM FOR THE KVS NATIONAL SPORTS MEET 2009
ii) Basketball (BOYS) team got 3rd position and one boy selected for KVS (GR) TEAM FOR THE KVS NATIONAL SPORTS MEET 2009
iii) Boxing- Raja Biswas of XII got gold medal, Sourav Das of XII got silver medal both selected for KVS National sports meet.
iv) Amit Biswas of XI-E got bronze medal.
iv)TABLE TENNIS Subhojit Bhatcharjee of VIIIi-B got gold medal u-14 boys,Jubojit Dey of VII-B got bronze medal u-14 boys, Manash Banik of XI-C got gold medal u-19 boys,Amiyo Bhattacharjee of VIII A got 5th position in u-14 boys and Sabeha Doullah of VII-B got 4th position in u-14 girls . They are all selected for KVS National sports meet2009
v) Badminton U-17 Boys Mukesh Mahatu of X-C got gold,Biswajit Barman of IX-C got Silver and Partha pratim Mali of X-C got Bronze in KVS Regional sport meet 09’,U-19 Boys Sachin Kumar of XI-C got gold, Anupam Roy of XI-B got Silver and Rishiraj Basumotary of XI-C got bronze madel and Jyotirmoy Bhattacharjee got 5th position. They are all selected for KVS National sports meet2009.
vi) LAWN-TENNIS U-17 Boys Santanu Kumar of X-C got gold and Agniv Sarkar got Bronze in KVS Regional sport meet 09’,U-19 Boys Pratic kr Chakma of XII-C got Bronze. They are selected for KVS National sports meet2009.
vii) SWIMMING Master Bhargav Choudhury of V-C, Master Chiranjit Chakraborty of V-C and master Ripunjoy Das of V-B (U-14 Boys )are selected for KVS National sports meet2009.
Master Bhargav Choudhury of V-C represented sub junior swimming team (Assam) held at Panaji (Goa) 21/05/09 to 28/05/09. He also received the sports scholarship of Rs.3600/-.
All Assam invitational Boxing championship 2009 held at Bongaigaon from 9/10/09 to 11/10/09 Raja Biswas got 3rd prize.
All Assam prize money Basketball tournament held at Hengerabari from13/10/09 to 15/10/09 our vidyalaya’s girls Basketball team got 2nd prize trophy and Rs 3000/-.
BINITA SAHA of VII-C and BALANG GAYARI of XI-D both are selected for Woman National Basketball team (Assam) held at Bhopal from 21/10/09 to 24/10/09.
